Banding Station ToursEver wonder what goes on up at Hawk Ridge besides hawkwatching? Hawk Ridge is offering guided trips to the observation blind at the banding research station. During each 1-hour program, participants will get a closer look at what goes on ‘behind the scenes’ at Hawk Ridge, watch hawks being lured & trapped, and view banded hawks and songbirds in the hand. Available only to Friends of Hawk Ridge members or to those who Adopt-a-Raptor this fall. Trips must be scheduled in advance, and the maximum number of participants per tour is five.
