Banding Station ToursEver wonder what goes on up at Hawk Ridge besides hawkwatching? Hawk Ridge is offering guided trips to the observation blind at the banding research station. During each 1-hour program, participants will get a closer look at what goes on ‘behind the scenes’ at Hawk Ridge. Depending on the flight that day, this is an opportunity to watch hawks being lured & captured and to view banded hawks in the hand. Available only to current Hawk Ridge members at the $100+ levels or to those who Adopt-a-Raptor at the $100+ levels this fall (or a combination of both). Trips are available in September and October only, must be scheduled in advance, and the maximum number of participants per tour is five.
