Now you can participate vicariously in our banding program by "adopting" a raptor after it is banded. For as little as $25, you can adopt an individual raptor—a unique bird that you, and no one else, will sponsor. You might be the one & only person to adopt a banded Peregrine Falcon or Bald Eagle or Boreal Owl this year!

After the raptor of your choice is banded, you will receive:

Adopt packet, including certificate of adoption, color photo, and fact sheets—please allow 6-8 weeks for processing.
Request a digital image of your adopt photo at mail@hawkridge.org
$100 & $200 levels: a visit to the observation blind at the banding station (advanced reservations required, 218.428.6209)
Notification if your bird is recovered (date, location & circumstances)

NOTE: If you want to adopt & release a bird during a visit to Hawk Ridge (September & October only), DO NOT ADOPT ONLINE; instead, visit our table at the overlook and ask to be put on the waiting list.
