As threats to bird populations increase, the need for focused conservation efforts is greater than ever. Ryan Brady (WDNR Conservation Biologist – Ashland) will discuss his work with the Wisconsin Bird Conservation Initiative and highlight some of their important projects across the state, with special emphasis on migratory birds such as warblers, thrushes, vireos, orioles, hummingbirds, tanagers and more. Recognizing that preserving bird populations is something to which we all can and should contribute, Ryan will also specify habitat improvements and other actions that everyone can implement to help birds in their own backyards.
