Spring migration is underway for birds! In fact, some birds have already started their journey months ago! The Hawk Ridge spring count officially begins on March 1st each year. Which birds do we see first each spring? Is there a difference in migration timing based on the age of the bird? How is spring migration different than fall migration? Join Hawk Ridge Staff John Richardson and Margie Menzies on March 16, 2021 from 7- 8pm CDT for this Pick A Bird Brain Session: Spring has Sprung!

We’ll begin with a brief update on what’s currently being seen in the area and share some fun natural history. After that, we’ll answer questions from our participants that were sent in, in advance and if time remains, accept questions during the session. Please send advance questions to mmenzies@hawkridge.org. Be ready for a fun and enjoyable session talking about birds (feel free to dress in your comfy zoom clothes and relax with your favorite beverage!)

This a free event, but donations in support of Hawk Ridge are always appreciated! To donate please visit www.hawkridge.org, select Support and then choose Donate.
