Birds of prey have a significant history in Native American cultures, both in the northern U.S. and the southern U.S. Species like Bald Eagles, Great Horned Owls, Red-tailed Hawks, and even crows and ravens all hold special significance to Native cultures in the United States. This program investigates the relationships between birds of prey and the Native American cultures that held them in esteem.
