Pick A Bird Brain- 2021 Superflight of Finches!

Winter is winter, right? And pretty much the same every year? Well not so much if you are a bird, especially winter finches. The winter of 2020 was a lousy one for winter finches in Minnesota, but 2021 has turned out to be a great winter for winter finches thus far. What makes the difference from year to year? Can we predict when will be a good year? What are these finches doing now? Join Hawk Ridge Staff John Richardson and Margie Menzies on February 16, 2021 from 7- 8pm CDT for this Pick A Bird Brain Session- Superflight of Finches

We’ll begin with a brief update on what’s currently being seen in the area and share some fun natural history in the first 10-15 minutes. After that, we’ll answer questions from our participants that were sent in, in advance and if time remains, accept questions during the session- 30-40 minutes.
