Sarah Needles, Raptor Bander

Sarah grew up in California and discovered her love for birds while exploring the coastal and grassland habitats of Santa Cruz during her college years. Her interest in birds led her to band songbirds in California and study nesting American Kestrels in Salt Lake City. This will be her fourth season at Hawk Ridge and her second season as a Raptor Bander. She is very excited to return to Duluth and experience another season of fall migration- her favorite time of year. In her free time, you can find Sarah biking, knitting, and reading.
